We have a variety of color options and we will do our best to accommodate you. Once we receive your order, it typically takes between 2-4 weeks to receive your sweater (depending on the number of people in line in front of you). We will let you know where you are in line and do not request payment until your sweater is started. For an idea of what the custom sweaters look like, check out Tiennot Knits Tuesday posts #1, #2, #3, and #4. Refer to our Tiennot Knits Facebook page for pricing information on custom orders.
Our Facebook page also lists our pre-made sweaters and neck warmers that are being offered at a discounted price! Because each sweater is one-of-a-kind, orders will be taken first come, first served. Email me at {ourwaldobungie@gmail.com} and request the sweater by its assigned number. If it is available, I will send you an invoice via PayPal and promptly mail out your sweater.

Two questions:
1) Are these sweaters also “other mutt” compatible? Alas, thanks to BSL, I can’t own a pittie or pittie mix, but my elder-North American Eskimo mix (she’s 13) needs some extra warmth this winter.
2) How do we best measure our dogs for proper fit?

Jill, they are not specifically for pitties only. The button-styles are named after elderbulls and elderbelles, but my mom has made sweaters for pugs, labs, retrievers, hounds, and pitties. Usually, we ask for you to measure from the dog’s ears to the tail so my mom can ensure that the length is just right. My mom also needs to know your dog’s weight and then she likes to see a photo to get the best idea of what the right size will be. She has a knack for getting the size just right!

Have any ready made ones in larger sizes? I have a “pocket pittie” that would still need a large…

Emily, I would LOVE to buy a sweater for Toby, but he’s a standard poodle and needs a large. Do you know if there will eventually be an assortment of larges at reduced rates?

Lacy,
We will probably have some larges eventually. My mom has several people on the custom order list that she is getting to first before she makes more reduced rate sweaters. I can let you know when those are available.

Love your sweaters! I am a knitter and am always looking for an easy pattern, and yours looks like one I could handle. Can you share your pattern source, or did you make it up yourself and would be willing to share?

Daisydog, I will check with my mom to see what pattern she started with. She started with one pattern and then kind of morphed it into her own pattern pretty quickly to make it work for what she wanted to do.

Oh thank you! I have a pit bull and a little Chiwawa that I want to knit for but most of the patterns I find are a bit complicated for me.

Do you think those small sweaters would fit a barrel-chested miniature pinscher?

How much does Scooby weigh? The small sweaters are a little bit for Rufus, who is 10 pounds. Once my mom gets through this batch of orders, I am going to try to convince her to take a stab at making an extra-small for our itty bitty dog friends!
