I was so excited to find out I won this amazing print from Row Boat Press during a Yellow Brick Home giveaway back in December!

When the package arrived on our doorstep, I may or may not have done a happy, squealing dance…then I ran out to Michaels to see if I could find a frame for it. Alas, there were no 20 x 26 frames ready to go, so instead, we got those frame pieces that you assemble yourself. I wish I could remember what they are called, but I can’t…because Daniel did it – I was just his helper. So, we gathered everything we needed for the project…

The nice lady at Michaels cut down the glass to make it 20 x 26…and my only job was to get the right screwdriver. Daniel asked me if we needed a flat head or Phillips head, I told him I was sure we needed Phillips head. Alas, I was wrong…

Oh well…I finally found a flat head screwdriver and Daniel put the frame together…

Turk and Rufus were generally unhelpful…

20 minutes later…our print was framed and I am officially in lurve!

Don’t worry, mom, I didn’t get rid of the print you gave me, I just moved it!

Thank you to Yellow Brick Home and Row Boat Press for the amazing print – we love it!

That looks great there – love it!! There’s something so satisfying about hanging artwork, is there not? Over this past Christmas stay-cation, we FINALLY got around to framing and hanging a Hatch Show Print we got FIVE YEARS AGO when we first moved to Nashville. All because it took us forever to find a suitable frame, cuz it’s a weird size…I finally ended up finding one at Goodwill and paiting it purple. Now I lurves it!!

Ooooh – photos on your blog soon? I’d love to see a purple Goodwill frame – we got a dollar garage sale frame awhile back, spray painted it white, and now it’s one of my favorite frames!

I’m pretty sure that Rufus would say that he was supervising. That’s what my dogs call being generally unhelpful.
